What was your most memorable moment?
Getting near FitzRoy at the end of the Laguna de Los Tres hike, although that hike was very, very crowded

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Realize that the best hikes are popular and very crowded The boat ride to the Pierro glacier is nice, but the icefield is best seen from the balconies at the end which you can drive to from El Calephate.
Something Else?
The group size was small, 6 on one hike and 8 on another one. Then just us on 2 other days. So that was all good. The hotel in El Calephate was very good. Kind of a charming style
Tell us about Buenos Aires
The tour guide was not exactly trying to find us at the airport. We were going through the area a second time before we found him. He was informative and engaging while quite political. We aren't quite as interested in cities, so a few hours of Beunos Aires was plenty. The cathedral and cemetery were the highlights.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
I learned about the country of Argentina, its history and food , and its people. The time with the trekking guides was insightful. We had time to ask a lot of questions.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
I guess I didn't realize I would have no direct contact with Swoop on the trip. The partners you use for working out the trip were who we were in contact with. I am sure we could have contacted you but glad I didn't need to
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
We were well prepared with all your info. I can see the next questions deal with other destinations, several of which we have been to. Antarctica is of interest possibly, but I will put no to the questions because we are getting older and almost finished our bucket list. Others we met with on our trip who also used Swoop as their tour organizer were quite positive on Swoop
