What was your most memorable moment?
Hiking trail at Calbuco in Llanquehue Park. And especially, the previous day birding in Alerce park. Our guide Nicole from Bird Chile was an excellent birder and hiking guide.

Tell us about Chilean Lakes
Yes. A great location. During our 4-day stay, we did not have time to go to the town of Fruitillar. However when our cruise returned to the area 4 days later, we took a drive up there it was worth a half day view, but we wouldn't want to stay there. Puerto Varas was more interesting.
Tell us about the Excursions
The guide was excellent. Birding and moderate hiking were our priorities. Nicole and her support team were excellent.
Something Else?
Overall, we are glad that we hired Swoop rather than trying to plan everything ourselves. We are experienced international travelers and have planned many trips on our own, for example New Zealand, Australia, and destinations in Europe. Our previous trip to Patagonia was in 2014. We planned it ourselves and did have a few days stay at Explora in Torres del Paine.

We've been here before. We were adequately excited .
