What was your most memorable moment?
I had so many.....walking with the penguins, standing before the most beautiful glaciers, hiking in Torres del Paine, and staring at the most incredible scenery ever!

Tell us about Hotel Las Torres
Excursions and guides were amazing! Some of the best! Room was nice. I already wrote about unfortunate experience in the Bar. The restaurant was good but frustrated that it was hard to get earlier reservation (a couple nights only 9pm was available and that is too late to eat for us). Front desk was fabulous - so friendly and helpful. We LOVED stopping at the Estancia and watching a sheep being shorn and then having the most lovely meal of lamb, potatoes and cucumbers - one of the best meals on the entire trip!
Tell us about Torres del Paine
Exceeded my expectations! Just magical.....the hiking, the catamaran to Grey Glacier, the horseback trip! My only sadness was not having one more day to hike to the base of the towers!
Tell us about Tierra del Fuego
Loved the Australis ship, the location, the tours, the staff, the beauty of the glaciers! Arakur Hotel was the absolute BEST - I wish we could have had one full day in Ushuaia - this hotel was over the top amazing and we LOVED our time there!
Tell us about Buenos Aires
Fogon was a fabulous event - as foodies, we loved the tasting experience and great wine!
Tell us about Santiago
While our hotel (Hotel Solace) was a nice hotel, the staff were quite unfriendly - I was surprised at how unfriendly they were actually. All the front desk staff on each day were less than helpful, never smiled, never said much of anything to us. The restaurant staff were okay but not very friendly upstairs.

Hiking to the French Valley was amazing! I highly recommend!
Tell us about the Horseriding
Loved the riding and so happy that we got to run the horses!
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Do research, pack for all seasons, plan to layer. It seems that we didn't need to pack our trekking poles as each hike, they were offered to us.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
I cannot wait to book another trip to the Argentina side of Patagonia. I absolutely loved learning about the culture and history in both countries - I have such a new appreciation for that part of the world!
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
I loved the personal touch when one of our bags didn't make the flight - the fact someone followed up on that was exactly what I would hope for. I have been so pleased!
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
I felt very prepared and over the moon excited!
