Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Bring clothing for all temperature ranges. Don’t skimp on training. We trained for months and felt prepared but they are long days. Training makes the experience more enjoyable.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
You are great! This is our second trip with Swoop and both times you have been responsive and helpful.
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
Very prepared. It helped we have been there before. We trained quite a bit to be prepared. Your itinerary states the number of hours and miles, which were accurate, but a key piece missing was elevation gain. That is a bigger factor than mileage. I was not mentally prepared for the 4500 feet of elevation gain for the base of the towers. I highly recommend including that information.
