Tell us about the Trekking
The guides over the three days were amazing - I lucked out and had a guide to myself on all three days, which made a huge difference. Both guides were incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and considerate - no rush, great conversations. Their guidance made the difference between just seeing the landscape, and truly understanding it.
Tell us about Los Glaciares
The perfect 3 day intro to Patagonia. All three days had their own highlights...each on a different scale. The last km up to Laguna de los Tres is worth the effort - it's not easy, but the reward at the top is brilliant. Take time to really absorb the landscape - it's breathtaking!
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Don't rush to try to get in as much as possible. Take advice from the experts and those that have been there. Take the time to see things properly, not just for a quick selfie!
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Totally changed. Patagonia feels ancient...it takes your focus from all the day-to-day life stuff that can get in the way of appreciating what nature has to offer. You feel small, but in a good and humbling way.
