Our hike to the towers...just wow!

Tell us about the Trekking
Jorge and Eduardo were very knowledgeable guides. We learned about the wild life, rock formations, vegetation and ate berries along our hikes. They stayed on top of the ever changing weather conditions - and because of this, we were able to see the towers. Had we kept to the original itinerary, we would have run into bad weather - so kudos to these two guys. I was pretty sore from doing back to back long hikes but it was worth it!
Something Else?
This is picky - and i did really enjoy the food provided. The sandwiches were large - be great if maybe they can make into smaller portions or cut in half and pack separately (one for snack and once for lunch). Nuts everyday was too much meaning need to switch it up - maybe with salty chips. Not sure how this could be addressed just because of the length of the hikes - i did not enjoy eating at 8pm at night, then getting cleaned up for bed to get up early the next day.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Go!
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Yeah, it did. It’s hard to explain exactly, but being out there for two weeks—completely unplugged and surrounded by that kind of landscape—just resets things. It makes everything back home feel a little less urgent and puts into perspective what actually matters. It also surprised me a bit—I’m athletic, but those hikes were still really tough. Pushing through that every day gave me a different kind of confidence.”
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
I was travelling with three great women who are expert hikers and backpackers so I feel I got great guidance on what to pack and prepare for. I was also a little terrified that I may fall short on the long hikes and not make it - but, luckily, that didn't materialize! Whew!
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
The one feedback I have is the webinar that was one (1) hour long - 1.) I would have preferred to hear more about my specific program 5 day W trek (glamping) and what I needed to be prepared for vs hearing about ALL of the different programs/trip; 2.) two presenters better than 3 or 4. We did not see or meet any of the presenters so not sure what value that provided. For my specific trip and where we were staying - would have been good to know what essentials would be provided vs having to email each time I remembered i.e. shower/WC situation, towels, etc. It helps with packing
