What was your most memorable moment?
Arriving at Laguna de Los Tres in El Chalten. Weather was great. View was incredible. Rewarding after a long hike.

Tell us about the Excursions
Jose from Chile Nativo was very good. Really took care of us during our time in Torres del Paine. We also really liked the Chile Nativo Riverside accommodations and the food. The meals really exceeded our expectations. Nati was our guide at Perito Moreno Glacier. She was very passionate about sharing information about the different time periods (ice ages), galactic/solar/universal factors, global warming, etc. She also didn't rush us at all. The fact that she is also a photographer was great, since she understood my interest in taking photos and could make recommendations.
Something Else?
For recommended hikes at El Chalten, Lago del Desierto should be included. Nati, our tour guide at Perito Moreno, recommended it when I asked her about hikes. It was a great option in addition to Laguna Torre, Lago de Los Tres, and Mirador Condor/Mirador Aguila.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
My windbreaker was probably the most needed item I brought. Super windy in Torres del Paine and El Chalten. Being prepared for rain is also great advice.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
I had seen the photos of the locations, but actually being there in person was amazing.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
I felt a little abandoned after I made my payment and was handed off from Melissa finally to Carys. Melissa had been so responsive. The UK-based team didn't have the same level of engagement. Made me feel like Swoop had my money, so the good service was over. I actually started thinking I had made a mistake using Swoop, especially since Swoop was much more expensive than the other agency I had been working with.
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
The Swoop pre-trip video was good. The online resource were also very helpful. Overall we felt prepared. We were already excited.
