What was your most memorable moment?
Our last day, the weather finally cleared up. We got to see Laguna torre, zip line over rio fitz roy, traverse sideways on a mountain to meet, have lunch at the top of that mountain with a beautiful view and meet up with the loma del pliegue tumbado path. Our guide (who was amazing) said that “trail” we took is only done with a guide since it’s not an actual trail and I’m glad we got to experience that!

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Make sure to get good waterproof equipment!! Our rain jackets and waterproof pants didn’t hold up so we were soaked for 2 days straight. Gloves are a need as well as your hands can get cold and chapped from the wind. I would also recommend bringing your own sleeping bag liner, the company provides you with one but it’s nice to have your own and provides an extra layer.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Yes, it made me realize I loved the experience and would do it again!!
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Everything was perfect, thank you so much for our experience!
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
I felt somewhat prepared, I’ve never camped or trekked before so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I enjoy hiking and staying active so I think that helped, but our guide talked us through the plans before we started which helped to see what was expected.
