Chorrillo del Salto is a waterfall with a drop of around 20 metres, which can be reached by a 3km walk from El Chalten. The waterfall is hidden in a lenga forest and the area around it is a great place to relax on a fine day. In the winter months, it freezes over completely and is popular with ice climbers.
