Rio Gallegos
Rio Gallegos is the Capital of the Province of Santa Cruz in Argentina and is found on the atlantic coast. Its has a nearby airport which supports 3-4 flights a day from Buenos Aires.
This is not much of a tourist town however, it is mainly a hub for coal-shipping and wool production. Most people who visit Rio Gallegos will be passing through en route to El Calafate (5 and a half hours away), Puerto Natales (3 and a half hours away) or Ushuaia (7 and a half hours away).
