Cochrane
Cochrane is the base for many adventures into the Aisen region of Chile. It is the provincial capital of PratProvince and one of the main and most comprehensvie supply and service centres to the south of Chile Chico.
Tamango National Reserve, designed for the conservation of South Andean Deer, lies nearby and also offers fishing trips and long walks suitable for all ages.
For the mountaineers among you, Mt San Lorenzo (3, 706m) - one of the highest peaks in Patagonia, is accessible from the town.
