Isla de los Muertos
Literally translated as the "Island of the Dead", the inhabitants of Tortel have left this island steeped in mystery after burying thirty-three people here almost one-hundred years ago. The cause of their deaths remains unknown, but their crosses remain and provide a certain eeriness to an otherwise beautiful scene at the delta of one of Chile's most important rivers, the Baker.
