Rio Puelo

This choppy river starts in Argentina and flows across the border into Lago Tagua Tagua some 17 miles from Cochamo in the Chilean Lake District. It then flows all the way east to the Reloncavi Estuary. A great location for kayaking and horse riding, the terrain is mountainous and green, perfect for growing grapes, and the whole area has a mediterranean feel when the sun is shining.
