Lago del Toro

Lago del Toro is the largest lake in the Torres del Paine National Park and many visitors to the national park drive along its shore as they first catch sight of the famous Towers and the 'Cuernos'. The Rio Serrano flows from the north west corner of the lake.

Also in the north west corner of the lake lies the park administration centre; CONAF are based here and you will also find the road leading to Camping Serrano, a lovely campsite at the edge of the Rio Serrano, which is one of the lesser known places in the park and a fantastic spot for relaxing, fishing and kayaking south into the wilderness.
