Cueva de las Manos

The Cueva de las Manas (Cave of the Hands) is one of the most important archaeological sites in South America. The cave paintings date from between 9300 to 3300 years ago and were made by the ancestors of the Tehuelche people. The site was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1999.
