Both David and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip from Santiago through Patagonia and arriving in Ushuaia to board the Scenic Expedition ship into Antartica. We loved the mountains and the hiking.

Highlight was mirardores hike at tdp. Low point wss being grabbed by a stranger who didn’t speak English and pulled into a van because you didn’t arrange for my transfer properly.

Hard to say. At every turn in every hike there was a view that took our breath away. Getting to the base of the towers on a clear day was unforgettable. Having a cocktail chilled by glacier ice on the last day may be the coolest thing ever.

The 5 day trek within Torres Del Paine + Mount Fitzroy were amazing - difficult to pint point any one thing as there were so many!

Just one...that's tough; the entire trek from pick up to drop off was amazing and still feels like a dream that I did it! pushing my old body through the trek past where I thought it could take me is probably the best feeling ever.

Second day of puma tracking was the best view of Dahlia, a well-known cat. She was beautiful and so graceful. However, it is hard to not choose the incredible views we had with exceptional weather. And the group of 50 condors on the ground was pretty awesome!

I had a fall on day 3 and hurt my MCL. I woke up on day 4 having a hard time walking, but only had one more hike to complete the W-trek (plus another day to return to Paine Grande). I made the difficult decision to start the hike that day, with the intention of turning around within a quarter mile if necessary. I was able to work through the pain (which eventually went numb) and the hike itself that day was absolutely stunning. The viewpoint mid-way to Grey was stunning, and the final viewpoint at the Grey campsite was equally moving. Finally, we were able to do kayaking up to the glacier. The entire day was perfect and I felt a great sense of accomplishment for finishing the entire W and working through the pain.

So many! The towers, the glaciers, the lakes, the fun meals in the refugios, learning about the mountains, the boat ride that took us so close to glaciers.

Ecocamp for sure. The food blew our mind every meal! All of the guides and staff were awesome and we just loved our dome.

We enjoyed hiking to several remote areas with the guided tours in Chalten, Calafate, and EcoCamp. The car service was an integral part of the great experience.
