Hiking to see the Fitz Roy on a perfectly clear and sunny day was a memory that I will cherish forever. Great friends, a good lunch and breathtaking views!

The hike to Torres del Paine, I didn't know I had it in me to do it! Even though, I did not get to see the towers, it was a cloudy, rainy, snowy day; just about a peak of one of them, it was just a great accomplishment!

Spending an hour walking among the penguins at Martillo Island was no doubt the highlight of the trip. It was magical watching the goofy graceful creatures, and the young ones, peeking from the burrows with curiosity or playing with their parents. We got to see Magellanic, and surprisingly many Gentoo. Other highlights: Perito Moreno Glacier, and hiking at the amazing mountains at El Chalten.

The hike in the Huemules Reserve to Puesto Cagliero, and especially the path between Lagos Verde and Azul, was a spectacular experience that we all enjoyed. Beautiful weather and scenery, a good pace and difficulty level, and the added treat of a cozy "cafe" in the middle of the wilderness with views of the glacier.

Swimming with the guide, Soledad, in the iceberg bay was absolutely fantastic, with icebergs calving and flipping every few minutes.
