There wasn't a "most memorable moment". It was an overall, ongoing fluid number of multiple moments. The trip was planned in such a way that we experienced the sheer vastness and beauty of nature for 7 days straight; landscape, animals, scenery, weather. The city visits (Valparaiso and Buenos Aires ) were guided in a way that we felt we understood all about each city's energy and culture. Having said all of the above, the providers at each piece of our trip were excellent! Above and beyond customer service was demonstrated in all avenues. My favorite place to be was Camp Patagonia! The food was 5 star.

I wish I could say I had one memorable moment, but I can tell you this one of the most beautiful places I have ever been, with such a wonderful community.

Getting to the top of the Mirador Los Torres. That feeling that I did it, that I’m capable, and with such an amazing view as payoff.

There were so many to pick just one is an almost impossible task! However, the view from the Lazo Weber viewpoint on a stunning, clear day was spectacular.

Seeing Águila Glacier was my favorite moment. The trek along the bay was beautiful, and then to walk back and see the glacier and touch the water was a very emotional moment for me. Absolutely breathtaking.

I was especially appreciated the guide support on the 'moderate' hikes both at Eco Camp and at Explora. We had the ability to choose different activities (although many we did together) and everyone was able to do the things that they most wanted to do.

My very first trek in Patagonia came in El Cheltan on the Laguna de los Tres trail. It's most memorable b/c it was the first confirmation of my readiness for my trip (fitness and general preparedness in terms of gear and layering system), incredible views of Mt. Fitz Roy with great weather and just an all around awesome day. I also want to shout out Walk Patagonia for the great coordination of my time in El Chalten and El Calafate. And a very special shout out for my guide in El Chalten! Franco took me on two sole guided tours and was so great. He really made my experience wonderful and I left with much more than a guide, but a friend.

Cape Horn first thing in the morning was gorgeous and the Tierra Patagonia hotel was the hands down nicest place we have ever stayed. Great amenities, delightful staff, great food.
