Joaquin and Benjamin and Ruta 7 were wonderful. The first third of our trip was the most unique....hiking in what felt and looked tropical with glaciers at the view points. The "paths" were most often ladders, planks and bridges and the scenery magical. Joaquin and Benjamin quickly accessed our fitness and interests and selected perfect daily hikes. They both are deeply knowledgeable, spoke flawless English, added wonderful energy and fun to our group of 3 couples. Highly recommend them to Swoop for future groups.

I cannot pick just one. When you finally reach the base of the Fitz Roy in Chalten and the Towers in Torres Del Paine one is struck with overwhelming emotion. Though cliche, no photo could possible display such beauty. There is a sense of real accomplishment. The time spent traveling the Strait of Magellan to Francisco Coloane III Island gives one time to reflect on just how remote your time spent seeing wildlife will be. Then there they are--the Whales. So amazing.

Standing at the foot of Tres Torres in the sunlight..no clouds or rain and few people.......My suggestion to any who wish to do the hike is to start from the hotel by 6:30. On the way down there were so many people and groups , ( peak season I’m sure) one had to keep moving over and waiting whereas going up early you had the trail pretty much to yourself you could look around and just relish the fabulous land forms,ecosystems, and natural beauty surrounding you. The other hikes were amazing as well but only this one was totally clear.

The highlight of the trip has to be kayaking next to the magnificent Glacier Grey with giant icebergs floating by. I’ve never experienced anything like that before and the 2 hour flew by as we took in the most incredible views. The staff were very professional and made everyone feel at ease.

Our stay at Patagonia Camp....the clean & cozy yurts with a beautiful view, the professional, friendly and accommodating staff, the 3 days of spectacular treks and the fellow guests that we met at camp and on the treks, and the food was healthy and delicious!
