Seeing a wild puma at a kill in spectacular evening light; a moment (and photographs) I won't forget. But if the pumas were a highlight, other wildlife was very nearly as special: Patagonian gray fox, guanacos galore, kestrels, harriers, a peregrine falcon, and more. The landscape was also gorgeous and worth spending quiet moments to absorb.
