Given the beauty at every turn, it would be hard to pick out one memorable moment, but if I had to, it would be the French Glacier. I've seen a number of glaciers now in my life, but have never seen one on such a steep landscape as was this one. Hearing a number of avalanches was pretty cool too, but unfortunately, never really saw any movement lower down below the cloud deck.

Doing and finishing the O-Circuit safely with nice, like-minded people, expertly led by two great guides in Alberto and Chris, having our belongings carried by five fabulous porters in breathtaking surroundings and we was very lucky with the weather.

On the last part of the trip to Maipo and El Yeso dam navigating the very narrow road and driving over the waterfalls that cross the road as the vistas revealed themselves

We woke up at Peros Camp to snow. The John Gardner Pass was a white out where the wind had covered the path. Other hikers waited for us so our Guide Ian Rodriguez could set the path. It was a very hard day but our group all agreed it was the most memorable part of our day. Other hikers thanked our guide for helping them over the pass.

The amazing views all around us all the time - especially after hiking to the summit of the French Valley and the base of the towers.

Every photo was spectacular. I didn’t have to try very hard to capture nature’s beauty. I loved one video that I took of a lone horse galloping against a multi colored sky. The lakes/ water were breath taking

The stunning landscapes on all of our hikes. The hikes we did with guides at Explora where there were no people, a rare thing to find these days.

Any of our many hikes were highlights - from the visit Perito Moreno glacier to all the hikes radiating out from the Explora hotel.

We had many memorable moments. Horseback riding in Cerro Castillo, The boat trip to see the San Rafael Glacier, especially Patagonia National Park. I wish we could have planned more time there.

Honestly, after hiking all day in El Chalten, going to the Glacier Piedras Blancas, then arriving at camp to find our tents completely set up with sleeping bags ready and a lovely dome with snacks and drinks prepared! That was such a beautiful sight after a beautiful hike!

Hiking to the base of the Torres del Paine in the rain and snow (10 cm!!). The challenge of that weather and still doing it was really satisfying. We were up and down in record time, (too cold and no view to enjoy) and greeted at the end with a drink.

Laughing with our guides, honestly. They were amazing!
