The whole trip was filled with memorable moments, but I will always remember seeing the mountains of Torres del Paine as we drove into our villa at Awasi. I wasn’t prepared for the remoteness or ruggedness of the area.

There wasn't one that stood out, the holiday was full of memorable moments, from discovering mushrooms grew on trees to the incredible sight of the towers when we reached the top and the sheer scale of the glaciers. The friendships and laughter that we shared to depth of knowledge passed on by the guides in an informative and entertaining way. From the sleeping in tents to the comfort of the eco camp and not to forget weather, rain, wind, sunshine just an incredible experience.

Hiking up to Loma del Pilegue Tumbado, we had a clear day and had a perfect view of Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre!!! Hiking to Huemules Reserve and the Puesto Cagliero Hut was fun as well, with the crepe treat overlooking the glacier!!

This is a really hard question! There were special moments every step along the way, in every location. But….I would have to say that waking up around 6:30 on our first morning at Chalten Camp (that is, our first morning in Patagonia) and seeing the pink sunrise light on the peaks was my first glimpse of just how incredible this trip would be. And that was just the first most memorably moment! Truly awe-inspiring.
