Torres del Paine was amazing, Both the Explora hotel and the region. Calafate hotel was fine, but Pepita Morena tour and Estancia Christina were both great. The cruise from Ushaia was nice.

Crossing snowfields and rivers in the Andes, carrying bikes hours from the nearest support. Properly life affirming!

Sharing the absolutely epic views with my wife, taking the time to soak in the amazing beauty and vastness of Patagonia’s views was incredible. Eating our lunch at the peak of Mt. Fitz Roy while watching a wild fox look for food near a waterfall was probably my favorite.

Summiting the Towers--it was a very challenging hike, especially for someone like me who's very afraid of heights. But there were so many points throughout the hike where it felt so worthwhile. It made me feel like I could actually be someone who's comfortable doing difficult hikes.

The landscape and immensity is overwhelming. People in all hotels were very attentive and genuinely liked their jobs.

It was a great trip even with all the Covid19 restrictions in place at that time. We found the Chilean people warm and friendly and the country vast and beautiful. Using Swoop Patagonia was the smartest thing we did preparing for the trip. They handled everything perfectly and the few hiccups along the way (self induced or covid related) were remedied smartly. Their on the ground agents in Chile were incredibly helpful and eager. We would not have had the same wonderful trip without the aid of Swoop. We just could not have planned and executed the same with our limited knowledge of Patagonia travel.

The feeling of accomplishment upon arriving at each Refugio after completing the walk for that day. This coupled with being off grid and meeting lots of people from around the world whom all had the same experience.

Highlights, trekking to el Chalten, Laguna Capri and Las Torres; visiting Perito Moreno Glacier. The landscapes were stunning and the wildlife was everywhere. The people were lovely. Have told many friends/family and will likely tell more. Surprises? Yes. The weather! We were graced with sunshine on our treks. A clear sky and still water at el Chalten. The guides had never seen a day like that ever. The magical moment was when I reached base of Las Torres. I rounded a corner and boom, there I was.

Too many to mention! Condors, glaciers and icebergs hit probably the feeling of exhilaration having completed our 8hour trek to Torre Lake in El Chalten.

Unforgettable, torres del paine the best area, riding into the park getting close to the wildlife, people friendly. Rolling over in bed in the Ship cabin in Aysen to get a face full of Kitten who had decided that it was a nice place to sleep

There are many memorable moments for our family on this trip, but being together for Christmas in Patagonia was the #1 for my husband and I. There were 7 of us traveling for Christmas which was not a small undertaking. Swoop made this trip perfect. Every transport was exactly on time and the guides were amazing. Rosero with Walking Patagonia( organized by swoop) is one the most knowledgeable and kindest person I have ever met. She was always concerned that we were comfortable on the hikes, had the proper food and were hydrated. We hiked with her for 4 days and loved her. Swoop did a fabulous job selecting the hotels and hiking locations. We really got a great feel for Patagonia. My kids said this was a trip of a lifetime. Thanks to Swoop it went very smoothly!!!
