We had dinner with our guide and driver at the Serrano camp- we laughed and shared stories by a fire. The food and beverages were great and the company was even better. I was so pleasantly surprised to meet so many people who spoke English and translated for us. Our Chile Nativo guide was AMAZING- his name is Vincenzo. He has so much passion and enthusiasm for Patagonia- the land, flowers, trees, animals food etc. I feel so lucky that we had him.

The national park is just incredible; breathtaking views. But our Eco Camp guides made the experience unforgettable. They were very knowledgeable, patient, encouraging and supportive. It felt like hiking with family. EcoCamp is also so awesome!

Having been there, met others, spoken to lots of people on the ground, the itinerary that Swoop pulled together looks perfect. We were v lucky with the temperamental weather - which helped a lot - and the local partners were excellent. Best parts were the more arduous days and the rewards of the views gained.

Out of 24 days in Argentina/Chile, the highlight of our trip was definitely when we reached the look out at Mt. Fitz Roy - weather was perfect; clear blue sky with no signs of clouds. Amazing landscapes in both Chile (Torres del Paine) and Argentina (El Chaltén). My wife got to see the condor at close range - which also was kind of a highlight. Our guide (Juan from Serac Expeditions) was awesome. His knowledge and commitment clearly made the difference - and was the primary reason why you should do this trip with a guide, and not just on your own. What would we tell family and friends? Go there! You won't regret it.

Highlights-- time in Bariloche and Torres del Paine Landscapes etc----immense and spring was lovely time to go with all the flowers. Also saw new born chulengo and Torrent duck family :). All Chilean & Argentinian people were great, helpful & friendly

There are so many. Watching glaciers from close up calve into the see, the stunning vistas and massive mountains of Torres del Paine, seeing the Torres for the first time while driving to the park, standing on Cape Horn island, and completing the W-trek. I'll say the top two are: Observing an absolutely huge avalanche in French Valley. (awe inspiring and a little scary) Cresting the final ridge at the top of the Base of the Towers hike and seeing the lake and towers. (breath taking)
