Our guides Nico and Gero made the Fitzroy hikes an amazing experience. The weather didn’t cooperate so we spent a lot of time with them at the campsite. Hiking on the glacier was also incredible.

Being at the top of Cape Horn was emotional. I had no idea that it would have been so wonderful. However, the entire trip made a most memorable moment in my life.

It’s hard to chose one memorable moment but I think sitting at the top of the British gardens view point after traversing the Frances valley was a key highlight The terrain was challenging and spectacular all at the same time. Seeing the blue lake in the distance and hearing the cracks of the glacier as it calves off small looking avalanches shards of ice was exhilarating. In conjunction with all those sites and sounds to be able to drink from the icy river cascading down the slopes was refreshing and so fresh

The adventure tat Swoop organized for us was perfect in very respect. It was beautifully coordinated with the two major venues in our itinerary; The Ventus Australia’s Tierra del Fuego expedition cruise and the time we spent in Patagonia Camp. Both segments of the trip were of quality outstanding quality run by highly professional, safety conscious, warm and caring staff. Everything from the beauty of the glaciers to the surreal vistas 9f snow covered mountains is something that is embedded in out souls and or memories for the rest of our time here on the planet.
