Second day of puma tracking was the best view of Dahlia, a well-known cat. She was beautiful and so graceful. However, it is hard to not choose the incredible views we had with exceptional weather. And the group of 50 condors on the ground was pretty awesome!

There were so many…. the lack of other people, noise pollution and sound pollution . We felt very privileged having access to many remote areas in a sensitive way. The sights, sounds, weather and flora were incredible.

Lake Deseado was memorable in so many moments! We didn't have high expectations because it was a fill-in when Covid canceled our cruise from Ushuaia, but the lake was exquisite from our first glimpse. Then, the lodge itself (very isolated) was lovely in every detail. The view from our windows was of pristine waters with mountains in the distance. The short path to the dining facilities took us past beautiful birds, a brook and a beaver dam. Andres and the staff were welcoming, very helpful and genuine. We were a family of 14, joining one another from many parts of the United States and the only ones at the lodge. We were amazed at the menu, and managed to order everything from brie with local berries to guanaco, everything delicious. We over-80 grandparents got plenty of help so we could climb some trails and coast down the mountain on a bike. We also loved the library's collection of books about Patagonia. Our teens found challenging trails. Thank you to everyone including the gracious owners of Deseado Lodge!

Our guides in Chile were outstanding and extrememly brilliant at explaining GEO things and were entertaining. They also were great at our needs like blisters, cuts, our energy level of the hike and our well being in general. I also loved the fact that they did join us for dinner as we revisited the day. This did not happen in Argentina. We felt rushed and not a lot of conversation between us and the guides. Come to find out one was ill so a new one came and he was very personable which was the last 2 days of our hike. They did answer questions when we had them, however but did not voluteer a lot of info we did not see. They pretty much kept to themselves during our bus ride. Maybe it was because we stayed in an Inn and not at a geodome like Chile.

We loved the entire adventure, but hiking on the last day to the Torres del Paine viewpoint brought tears of joy to my eyes. The 10 days of hiking was tough but totally worth it. Our group of 13 travelers from all over the world (9 from N. America, 2 from the UK, 2 from Holland) were tons of fun and we all got along well. Several of us hope to travel to one another's homes!

Difficult to pick any one specific moment - perhaps just seeing the smile on my wife's face as this trip was a longtime dream of hers. Additionally, I loved seeing my 17 year olds interacting with other travelers and expanding their perspective on the world.

Our guides Lucille and Jose made the entire W trek absolutely unforgettable. They were patient with our entire team since we were all different levels. They both were so lovely to be around and kept us at a comfortable pace. We all had so many great laughs on the trail and made so many great memories.

There were so many that it’s hard to pick one. Maybe the glacier boat tour on Lago Argentino (Maria Turquesa)?

The highlight was the scenery obviously.. but the ecocamp was wonderful to. The food was fantastic and all the staff were so friendly and accommodating. We had great guides for our trek and loads of fun!

Highlight was the scenery without a doubt: the Torres, Paine Grande, Los Cuernos, and everything in between. Whether it was snowy, rainy or a beautiful day full of sunshine, we loved every minute of the W trek. We saw many foxes, rabbits, condores and other birds, surprisingly few guanacos.

There are of course more than one memorable moment. Chalten Camp, and the wind, stormy exciting weather, beautiful hiking, even so. Excellent guides and experiences here. Loved the remoteness, quiet, and feeling we were on our own adventure/ Staff at Chalten Camp were so calm and accommodating without overwhelming. The Fitzroy coming out of the clouds for a spectacular sunset/ Every experience brought us a wealth of memories.

Hiking the French Valley

There were so many moments on this trip! This was my first ever camping/hiking trip and I thoroughly enjoyed it! The guides were fantastic, the food at EcoCamp wonderful, and Torres Del Paine incredible.

How can I answer this? The glaciers of Patagonia, Eco camp as a base for fantastic food, adventures and friends, the Ventus Australis for sophisticated exploration and great information ( as well as making new contacts), Puerta Varas for adventures and the best guides on the planet plus so much more.
